New Patients Welcome!
Welcome To White Center Smiles.
Dr. Tofunmi Osundeko
To current and future White Center Smiles Patients, Thank you for stopping by to get to know a little bit more about me. One question that I’m always asked is: why dentistry? Why did you choose this profession? Dentistry is art. It is precision. It is teaching others how to create and maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. I enjoy the challenges and the victories my profession grants me, and every day is a fresh, new experience. My goal is to help others in realizing all things are possible.
I grew up in historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after emigrating there as a young child. After earning my Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, I moved to Wichita, Kansas to complete my Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Not long after, I took a road trip to Seattle, fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, and have been here ever since!
I have chosen to practice in the White Center community because it is a neighborhood built by entrepreneurs from all walks of life. While being one of the most diverse areas in King County, the community boasts of a reputation for being close-knit, where people support one another and band together to help those in need. I like to think that with my diverse background, and my humble beginnings, my story could fit into this rich tapestry as well. This is why I named my practice White Center Smiles. I wanted this office to be the community’s dental office.
Everyone I’ve met here in White Center has really helped me to be able to make it my home. Getting to know you all is a major perk of the job! To let you know a little bit about me; I love traveling domestically and internationally, experiencing different cultures and sampling new cuisines along the way. I am always excited to hear new dining recommendations. I love being a part of the White Center community!
Thank you, Dr. Tofunmi Osundeko .
Dr. Jessica Shiao
I am so excited to join the team at White Center Smiles. I grew up in Ohio, then New Jersey and I’m now enjoying life in West Seattle with my family, which includes my energetic and affectionate toddler and my fluffy white dog who looks like a polar bear.
I received my Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers University and always had my heart set on taking care of patients. I decided to attend the University of Maryland, the first dental school in the United States and earn my degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.
My husband is an avid skier and mentioned that Seattle is an awesome city. I decided to check it out and apply to a residency program here. I loved my visit and made the move to West Seattle to complete an Advanced Educational General Dentistry program.
I care very much for my patients and understand the importance of listening closely to each person’s concerns and expectations. I truly want your experience to be comfortable so that you can continue to have a lifetime of healthy teeth.
I do my best to explain dental lingo in an honest, kind manner and provide you with options. I am known to be gentle and conscious of how you are doing through every step of treatment. I put myself in your shoes and know what it’s like to be on the other side!
I attend lectures and workshops to keep up with the latest advances in oral health and dentistry. At this time, I am enrolled in a program called the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to learn how to help myself and others feel more nourished and energetic. I am passionate about preventative care and providing guidance to improving both oral and overall health. I look forward to meeting you and serving the beautiful Tofunmi Osundeko community!

Being able to use the skills I’ve developed with my hands and seeing what I’m able to do clinically from start to finish with my treatment is very rewarding. I love giving my patients a healthy, beautiful smile!” Her goal is to work with her patients to help them achieve and maintain lifelong oral health and well-being. In her spare time, Dr. Zhou enjoys traveling, trying new food and spending time with friends and family.
