My First Visit

My First Visit

Your first visit to White Center Smiles is an exciting day for us because we love meeting new people! When you arrive, you'll be greeted by our administrative team who will get to know you a little bit and introduce you to our snack bar featuring drinks and goodies to get you comfortable. Our clinical team will get you settled into your private room by offering our wide variety of comfort items:

●  weighted blankets and pillows
●  headphones and an iPod for music
●  stress balls to squeeze
●  aromatherapy of your choice.

Now is the fun part! We will take our time getting to know what your goals and vision are for your dental health, ensuring that we personalize our recommendations to your specific needs. There are a lot of people who are anxious about going to the dentist. We completely understand and it's at this initial visit that we will discuss all of the ways that we successfully manage dental anxiety, including oral sedation and laughing gas if it is something you feel you will need. These can even be made available for your first visit.

After a thorough examination including an oral cancer screening, an evaluation of your oral health, X-rays, and any cosmetic concerns, we meet you where you are in regards to your priorities and make a game plan. Our wonderful hygienist will then complete your initial cleaning providing comfort, education, and attention throughout. From there, if you have any additional needs, we will provide some accommodating scheduling options to address the plan in a way that minimizes interruptions to your daily life. Our administrative team is also happy to discuss our flexible payment options with you at this time.

Dr. Osundeko loves new patients because each of you has a story to tell and it is an honor to be a part of your journey!

Financing & Insurance

Financing options

Insurances options

The doctor will diagnose treatment based on your dental health needs, not your insurance coverage. Most benefit plans are designed to only cover a portion of the total cost of a person’s necessary dental treatment.

We accept many dental insurances, and will gladly assist you in getting the most benefit from your plan by helping you file the necessary forms to your insurance a no extra charge. While dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurer, we will always do our best to estimate the exact benefit you are qualified for. (It should be noted that insurance companies can always deny, reject or adjust your claim). If the outstanding insurance amount due is not received within 30 days, you will be responsible for the balance due at that time. Any credit thus received from your insurance company will be refunded to you promptly or applied to any remaining credit balance on your account. Our staff is highly trained in navigating multiple plans and will assist you with any questions you might have about your insurance benefits. Give us a call at 206-762-2573 and ask directly about your plan.
