Our patients occasionally have just a few teeth that are misaligned, chipped, or discolored. Veneers are a simple, permanent solution for covering and correcting those problems. We can help you decide if veneers are the right solution for you.
Veneers are custom-made to fit your mouth. They are made of a thin resin or porcelain shell, and then bonded to the front teeth. The shells are color-matched to blend in and look like your natural teeth so you smile stays naturally beautiful.
The Porcelain Veneer Process
If Dr. Osundeko determines that veneers will be your best option, the process starts in our office with the removal of a small amount of tooth enamel. An impression of your teeth will be taken, and depending on the type of veneers you have, you will either return to our office or have the veneers made the same day.
Porcelain veneers take longer and are designed and manufactured in a lab. You will need to return to our office for a second visit to have the veneers placed. Composite resin veneers can be made here at White Center Smiles and attached in one appointment.
After your veneers are placed, we will show you how take care of them so they can last a long time. The dentist might recommend you stay away from certain foods that might stain your veneers and instruct you on the smartest way to keep them looking new and beautiful. Maintain your regular dentist check-ups and exams so we can maintain long-lasting veneers and your dazzling smile.
